We work with horses that are just coming off the track or are owned privately.  We can work on manners, social skills, desensitization, round pen skills, and riding skills. 3-6 month program.

Well behaved at feeding time
Easy to halter “catch” in pasture
Walks calmly with handler
Etiquette at the gates in and out of pasture
Stands for farrier and for baths
Load and unload from a trailer, calmly

Social Skills and desensitization
Learn how to behave with other horses
Familiarity w tarps, flags, ballons, pool noodles, bridges, tight spaces, noises, etc.

Round Pen Skills
Lunging on line and at liberty – politely- no kicking or striking out

Riding Skills
Stand for grooming and tacking up
Stand for mounting block
Familiar w English or Western Tack (your choice)
Good brakes with rope halter or bit
